The show takes us back to the streets of Paris in the era of ‘Bohemia’ to give us an insight into the incredible career of Charles Aznavour through his greatest songs which are known throughout the world and form an integral part of the world’s musical heritage.

“A show that never ceases to amaze”

Opérette Theatre Magazine

In a career as a composer, singer and songwriter, spanning nearly 80 years, Aznavour was one of France's most popular and enduring singers selling 180 million records during his lifetime and was dubbed France's “Frank Sinatra”. He was voted Time magazine's entertainer of the 20th century, edging out Elvis and Bob Dylan.

He recorded more than 1,200 songs, beginning with works for his mentor Edith Piaf, interpreted in 9 languages, 300 albums and appeared in more than 60 films. He recorded duets with the likes of Frank Sinatra as well as Luciano Pavarotti, Elton John, Plácido Domingo, Céline Dion, Sting, Bryan Ferry and Liza Minnelli. Aznavour was given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2017.

Aznavour was propelled to fame with his 1955 song “Sur ma vie” and his most memorable songs include the release of smash hit La Boheme in 1965, arguably one of the most memorable songs of his career. Others include: She (Tous Les Visages De L'amour) which was famously used in the final sequence of the 1999 romantic comedy "Notting Hill", Yesterday, When I Was Young (Hier Encore), Après l'Amour, You've Let Yourself Go (Tu T'Laisses Aller) and What Makes A Man (Comme Ils Disent).

Produced by the same team behind Piaf! Le Spectacle, this powerful celebration immortalizes Charles Aznavour’s career in a multimedia production of images, video and original staging.
