Australian actress, singer and recording artist, Claire Lyon will reprise her 2012 role as female protagonist ‘Christine Daaé’ this October in Dubai.

Claire has starred in a number of international productions of prestigious Broadway musicals, including, playing the role of Miss Dorothy Brown in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance and Claire in Jerry's Girls (The Production Company) and Josephine in H.M.S Pinafore (Melbourne Opera Company). After featuring as Mabel in The Production Company’s The Pirates of Penzance, Claire earned a Green Room Award (Australia) nomination as well as receiving a Helpmann (Australia) nomination after performing the role of Hope Harcourt for the national tour of Anything Goes in The Production Company’s concert version of Jerry’s Girls.

Based on the classic novel Le Fantôme de L’Opéra by Gaston Leroux, THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERAtells the tale of a disfigured musical genius, known as the Phantom, who haunts the Paris Opera House.

Mesmerised by the talent and beauty of a young soprano, Christine, the Phantom lures her as his protégé and falls fiercely in love with her. Unaware of Christine’s love for Raoul, the Phantom’s obsession sets the scene for a dramatic turn of events where jealousy, madness and passions collide.
